When I was in despair
and life seemed so
unfair,
you were there beside
me,
you protected and
comforted me.
When I wanted to cry
because of pain
you told me not to be
insane.
You talked of nice
things
and told me that life
is worth living.
When I was angry and
mad,
you find ways to make
me laugh.
You never argue or
fight
then things will be all
right.
When I was bothered and
preoccupied,
you made me feel that
in you I can confide.
You shared with me your
wisdom
and there’s no problem
I can’t overcome.
When you saw in me
traces of loneliness,
and tears were about to
fall because of sadness,
you drew a smile in my
face
and imparted memories
that can’t be erase.
When there’s no one I
can hold on to,
and friends became
untrue,
you stayed by my side
and guided my soul in a
world so wide.
When you felt that I am
frail or weak,
you never blow your own
horn rather you remain meek.
You gave a hug that’s
loving and soothing,
and a few strong words
that were all inspiring.
When I lose hope and
fell on my knees,
you extended a hand and
lifted me.
You gave a tap and said
“cheer up!”
”Life is
beautiful…never give up!”
When you noticed that
there was a great change in my life,
you never left me, you
hang around and still stayed by my side.
The more you taught me
to face life’s challenges,
because in the end the
big prize is happiness.
Life became easy and
simple because there was you,
and the lessons I’ve
learned were all efforts of you.
You pushed me closer not
only to your heart but to Him,
thank you and all the
things you’ve shared are worth remembering!
