If Ever

If ever there will come a time

that you’ll knock on my door,

I’ll open it without hesitation

and I’ll let you come in.

If ever there will be a second chance

I’ll let you feel the love I failed to show.

I will call you more often than everyday.

I want to hear your voice

I want to know if you sleep well

Or if you eat well.

If you ever you feel I’m cold, I’ll be sweeter.

I’ll care for you. I’ll keep you warm.

I’ll kiss you, I’ll hug you.

And I’ll never let you go.

If ever you’ll say I love you

I’ll never hesitate to answer I love you too.

I’ll say it not just once, twice or thrice but

A hundred times.

If ever you’ll hold my hands

I’ll hold yours tight. I’ll hold it firm until

You feel that I need you.

If ever you feel that we’re apart,

I’ll make a bridge.

I’ll open lines of communication

To be always near.

And see the rising and setting of the sun.

And losing you is so painful.

And feel doubt about me,,,

I’ll say…trust me…

Have faith in me…
